A requirement for accessing EA Site is to do so via two-factor authentication. By requiring a second factor of authentication that necessitates the use of a personal device, such as your smartphone, a remote attacker can't access the application with merely your username and password.
EA Health has implemented Duo Security, a friendly and secure way for you to sign in with 2FA. You will need to enroll either your mobile phone or landline to access the application from now on.
For the best experience, we recommend enrolling your smartphone and installing the free Duo Mobile client. With that completed, you will receive a push notification on your phone each time you sign in. Just one tap lets you approve the request, and your sign-in will then complete.
If you enroll a landline (extensions are supported), you will receive a phone call upon sign in. Pressing any key will confirm the authentication, and your sign-in will then complete.
At this time, 2FA is required once every 24 hours. So after authenticating in the morning, for example, you can sign in for the rest of the day with just your username and password.
Lastly, you have the option of enrolling an additional phone. So if you don't have access to your mobile phone, or perhaps it is out of charge, your landline can be called.
